Su questo esemplare
Yunnan gibbsite at 3.8 cm and 12 g; a miniature of a less common species.
Gibbsite is aluminium hydroxide; the Chinese material forms botryoidal blue-green crusts coloured by trace copper.
Yunnan is China's most mineralogically diverse province, source of the pyromorphite, azurite and blue aragonite that have become collector favourites.
The piece is miniature in size, 3.8 × 3 × 2 cm (1.50 × 1.18 × 0.79 in) and 12 g (0.4 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
