Su questo esemplare
Jiangxi golden baryte with fluorite at 128 g; a small cabinet piece with gem-like blades.
Baryte (barite) is barium sulfate: heavy for its size, soft, and prone to tabular or bladed crystals with a bright vitreous lustre.
Chinese fluorite has become a staple of modern collections for its sharp crystal faces, strong colour and a lustre that reads well from across the room.
Jiangxi is China's tungsten province; its mines have yielded wolframite, scheelite and fluorite specimens of world standard for decades.
The piece is small cabinet in size, 6.4 × 4.7 × 3.3 cm (2.52 × 1.85 × 1.30 in) and 128 g (4.5 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
