Una fluorite verde salvia compatta forma la base di questo pezzo del Fujian, con la superficie smerigliata e granulosa anziché vetrosa. Da essa cresce il motivo per possedere l'esemplare: calcite incolore in rosette serrate a cupola, ciascuna composta da decine di piccoli romboedri come una corolla di fiori, la maggiore vicina ai due centimetri di larghezza e abbastanza limpida da lasciarsi attraversare dalla luce.
La calcite in questo abito ad aggregato arrotondato è un'ospite tardiva: è cristallizzata nello spazio rimasto libero dopo che la fluorite aveva finito di crescere, ed è per questo che le teste poggiano nette sulla sommità, senza compenetrazione fra le due specie. Maneggi il pezzo dalla base di fluorite. La calcite ha durezza 3 Mohs e sfaldatura romboedrica perfetta in tre direzioni, e le rosette sporgenti sono la parte vulnerabile.
