Un ampio cristallo porpora spinoso si eleva ad un angolo superiore appuntito sopra una base più ruvida e più scura. I suoi grandi volti mostrano una consistenza superficiale fine e macchie più leggere che ammorbidiscono il colore lavanda-viola. Feldspar e mica accompagnano lo spinello, con piccole aree pallide e riflettenti visibili intorno ai suoi margini. Il secondo angolo sottolinea lo spessore del cristallo e il profilo inferiore irregolare, dando a questo esemplare Myanmar un profilo cristallo-centrato sostanziale piuttosto che un ammasso di molti piccoli punti.
