Su questo esemplare
A single thick, hexagonal calcite crystal in pale pink, translucent and flat-topped, stands upright on a mound of white quartz; known as sandwich calcite for the pink layer inside the crystal. Fluoresces under a UV torch, as the photos show.
Fujian calcite in this isolated single-crystal form is a clean, minimalist cabinet piece; the pink is subtle and shows best against a dark background.
