Diversi punti stretti sono in piedi in posizione verticale, mentre cristalli più grandi proiettano verso il lato anteriore e sinistro. La fine texture superficiale conferisce al quarzo un aspetto delicatamente smerigliato nelle fotografie. Da un lato, gli spazi tra i prismi diventano più evidenti, rivelando una disposizione stratificata di cristalli più corti intorno alla base piuttosto che un ammasso uniformemente allineato.
