Le lame di hubnerite bruno-rosse scure si estendono su quarzo bianco con piccoli accenti di pirite della miniera Yaogangxian. I cristalli più lunghi formano una cornice di incrocio, che mostra superfici quasi nere in luce ambiente e bordi più caldi bordeaux dove la luce passa attraverso. I grappoli di quarzo bianco ammorbidiscono la base mentre i punti metallici sparsi aggiungono contrasto. Due viste rivelano la lunghezza dell'hubnerite, terminazioni stratificate e una forte disposizione orizzontale attraverso la matrice.
