Diverse forme metalliche presentano contorni dall'aspetto annidato, mentre le facce di calcite grigio-chiare si sovrappongono intorno ai loro bordi. La vista frontale si concentra sulle superfici dorate più grandi vicino al centro. Una fotografia angolata rivela più dei cristalli pallidi circostanti e rende il motivo superficiale stratificato sulla pirite particolarmente visibile contro le facce più liscie vicine.
