Su questo esemplare
Hunan pyrite floater at 328 g; a small cabinet piece with textbook striations. Keep dry.
Pyrite is the most collected metallic mineral, and the best pieces combine sharp form with a lustre that has not dulled; store it dry to keep it that way.
Hunan is the heartland of Chinese mineral collecting, home to Yaogangxian, Xianghualing and Shangbao, and its fluorite, calcite and sulfides are the benchmark for the country.
By size it is small cabinet, 5.6 × 4.9 × 3.9 cm (2.20 × 1.93 × 1.54 in) and 328 g (11.6 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
