Over dit exemplaar
Yunnan acicular blue aragonite at 82 g; a small cabinet piece in a single calm colour.
Aragonite grows as radiating or stacked crystals, a habit that gives the species its sculptural, coral-like look.
Yunnan is China's most mineralogically diverse province, source of the pyromorphite, azurite and blue aragonite that have become collector favourites.
The piece is small cabinet in size, 6.8 × 4.8 × 2 cm (2.68 × 1.89 × 0.79 in) and 82 g (2.9 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
