Over dit exemplaar
Fujian red-fluorescing calcite at 95 g; a small cabinet piece for the UV collector.
Calcite is the most shape-shifting of common minerals: over 800 crystal forms have been described, and Chinese localities produce many of the best.
Fujian is China's most productive fluorite province, and its granite-hosted veins also yield the garnet, quartz and calcite that fill modern collections.
By size it is small cabinet, 6 × 4.4 × 4 cm (2.36 × 1.73 × 1.57 in) and 95 g (3.4 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
