Over dit exemplaar
Guangdong red-fluorescing calcite with green phantom quartz at 221 g; a cabinet piece for the UV collector.
Collectors chase calcite for form rather than colour: crisp crystal edges and a habit you can identify from across the room.
Each green phantom is a pause in the crystal's growth history, dusted with chlorite before the quartz kept building.
Guangdong is the source of the red hematoid quartz and green phantom quartz that reached collectors after 2015.
Dimensions place it in the cabinet range, 8.9 × 6.3 × 5.2 cm (3.50 × 2.48 × 2.05 in) and 221 g (7.8 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
