Over dit exemplaar
Yunnan double-terminated quartz at 6.3 cm and 15.3 g; a small cabinet piece. A slender, dark smoky double-terminated quartz with glassy faces, the Shanling quartz the supplier names, both tips complete as the supplier notes.
Double-terminated quartz grew free of the wall, so both ends carry natural terminations.
Yunnan is China's most mineralogically diverse province, source of the pyromorphite, azurite and blue aragonite that have become collector favourites.
Dimensions place it in the small cabinet range, 1.1 × 1.2 × 6.3 cm (0.43 × 0.47 × 2.48 in) and 15.3 g (0.5 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
