Over dit exemplaar
Yunnan golden transparent baryte at 5.8 cm and 57 g; a small cabinet piece with rich colour.
Baryte is a collector staple from Chinese lead-zinc and fluorite deposits, where it forms crisp tabular crystals alongside fluorite and calcite.
Yunnan's copper and lead-zinc districts produce the azurite, malachite, pyromorphite, hemimorphite and blue aragonite that define Chinese secondary minerals.
By size it is small cabinet, 5.8 × 4.5 × 2.8 cm (2.28 × 1.77 × 1.10 in) and 57 g (2.0 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
