Over dit exemplaar
Fujian translucent purple-green fluorite at 19.8 cm; a display slab that reads best back-lit or against a window.
Fluorite crystallises in the cubic system and is prized for its saturated colour, glassy lustre and the way zoned phantoms appear when the crystals are back-lit.
Fujian's fluorite-quartz veins have supplied collectors for two decades; the province is the source of most of the green and purple Chinese fluorite on the market.
The piece is large cabinet in size, 19.8 × 14.7 × 2.1 cm (7.80 × 5.79 × 0.83 in) and 705 g (24.9 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
