Eén kristal draagt dit stuk. Een grote glasachtige fluoriet, vaag groen door de kern en kleurloos naar de randen, staat recht op de bijna zwarte matrix en neemt vrijwel de volledige hoogte van het specimen in beslag. De vlakken zijn licht geëtst en eerder mat dan spiegelvlak, waardoor het doorvallende licht verzacht. Rond de voet dringt een kraag veel kleinere olijf- tot strogele fluorieten samen.
Fluoriet en cassiteriet houden elkaar in tingesteente gezelschap om een chemische reden: beide komen uit dezelfde fluorrijke oplossingen van het late stadium. Tin reist als fluoridecomplexen, en het fluor dat achterblijft wanneer het tin uitvalt, komt uiteindelijk vast te liggen in CaF2. De combinatie komt vaak voor, al is ze zelden zo goed opgebouwd, met één dominant kristal in plaats van een korst. Fluoriet heeft hardheid 4 op de schaal van Mohs met perfecte octaëdrische splijting; de etsfiguren zijn er niet uit te polijsten, en dat hoort ook niet.
Het meet 7,1 × 4,6 × 4,6 cm en weegt 180 g, op maat voor de hand en een kleine plank. Er is geen standaard; de matrix geeft het een vlakke, stabiele voet. Elke foto in deze aanbieding is van dit exemplaar gemaakt.
