Over dit exemplaar
Jinkouhe, Sichuan, skeletal quartz at 8.8 cm and 310 g; a cabinet single crystal. A large, pale golden quartz crystal in the skeletal habit with hollowed, stepped faces, the tip complete as the supplier notes.
Good quartz is about hexagonal prisms with clean terminations and the glassy lustre that lets a cluster catch light from every angle.
Jinkouhe in Leshan, Sichuan, is the source of prehnite, gypsum and epidote specimens from a road-cut skarn discovered in the 2010s.
Dimensions place it in the cabinet range, 6.2 × 5.7 × 8.8 cm (2.44 × 2.24 × 3.46 in) and 310 g (10.9 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.
