Over dit exemplaar
Zhejiang purple green-core fluorite at 8.5 cm and 150 g; a cabinet piece with a two-tone effect.
Fluorite crystallises in the cubic system and is prized for its saturated colour, glassy lustre and the way zoned phantoms appear when the crystals are back-lit.
Zhejiang's Jiangshan and Qingtian districts are known for babingtonite, prehnite, fluorite and quartz from volcanic-hosted veins.
Dimensions place it in the cabinet range, 8.5 × 4.5 × 3.3 cm (3.35 × 1.77 × 1.30 in) and 150 g (5.3 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
