De grotere kristallen projecteren aan één kant, terwijl kleinere paarse gezichten langs de tegenovergestelde rand verschijnen. Breed driehoekig ogende facetten geven het hoofdkristal een ander silhouet van een eenvoudige kubus. Op deze kleine schaal wordt het contrast tussen levendige paarse gezichten en de fijne witte gastheer de bepalende eigenschap, vooral in de dichterbijgelegen weergave.
