紫罗兰色的萤石立方体密密铺满一片深色、富矿的瑶岗仙母岩，每一枚晶体都带着这座矿山招牌的幽灵几何：幻影——早期生长阶段以「立方体中的立方体」的形式被保存下来。 颜色聚集在最外层的色带，因此每一枚晶体看起来都是在较浅的半透明核心之外，镶了一圈深紫色的边。
配角让它更完整。 一片黄铜色的微晶黄铁矿在紫罗兰之间闪出金光，一枚磨砂质感的石英柱从晶簇中升起，与下方深色母岩形成淡色的对照。 保留了这种晶洞脉络的标本，远比孤立的单晶更有性格——这就是萤石在湖南郴州瑶岗仙钨矿中实际生长的样子。
幻影色带最值得用一盏小灯从背后照射：内部的立方体会骤然对焦，紫罗兰色的边缘随之点燃。 标本尺寸 9.7 × 8.4 × 3.6 cm，重 370 g，可自然安放在随附的压克力底座上。 照片拍的就是这件待售标本。
