عن هذه العينة
Yunxiao, Fujian, feldspar with quartz at 46 g; a small cabinet piece of the pegmatite's matrix minerals.
Feldspar forms the blocky, pale crystals that act as a stage for the more colourful minerals in a pegmatite pocket.
Rock crystal is judged on termination quality, clarity and how the crystals sit together, and the Chinese localities have raised the bar on all three.
Fujian's fluorite-quartz veins have supplied collectors for two decades; the province is the source of most of the green and purple Chinese fluorite on the market.
By size it is small cabinet, 5.3 × 4.3 × 3 cm (2.09 × 1.69 × 1.18 in) and 46 g (1.6 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.
