A small plate of grey feldspar coated in glassy Fanta-orange spessartine garnet druse across its upper half, with a rounded garnet cluster at the top and the grey showing at the base. The orange is bright.
Yunxiao, Fujian, spessartine on feldspar at 32 g; a thumbnail with the locality's signature colour.
