عن هذه العينة
Inner Mongolia green fluorite with quartz at 10.5 cm and 257 g; a cabinet piece with gem-clear cubes.
Fluorite is the classic collector's halide: calcium fluoride that grows as cubes, octahedra and stepped combinations, often with colour zoning that shows best in daylight.
Rock crystal is judged on termination quality, clarity and how the crystals sit together, and the Chinese localities have raised the bar on all three.
The Huanggangliang skarn district of Inner Mongolia is one of the great mineral finds of the 21st century, known for fluorite, calcite, garnet and rare species.
The piece is cabinet in size, 10.5 × 6.5 × 4 cm (4.13 × 2.56 × 1.57 in) and 257 g (9.1 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
