Eine auffällige Kristallgruppe aus tief smaragdgrünen Dioptas-Kristallen, die eine braune Limonit-Matrix reichlich bedecken. Der Dioptas weist scharfe rhomboedrische Flächen, eine intensive Farbsättigung und über weite Teile des Exemplars eine funkelnde Drusenoberfläche auf.
Dieses Exemplar stammt aus der berühmten Tantara-Mine in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo, die dafür bekannt ist, einigen der weltweit besten Dioptas zu liefern. Der Kontrast zwischen dem grünen Dioptas und der erdigen Matrix ist atemberaubend. Es eignet sich sowohl zur Ausstellung als auch für fortgeschrittene Sammlungen.
