Über diese Stufe
A slender, glassy aquamarine prism in pale sky blue, complete at both ends, with a small white dolomite crystal clinging to one side and faint dark inclusions along the length. It is transparent enough to read light through.
Double-terminated aquamarine from Namibia's Erongo region is a classic gem-crystal specimen; a loose prism like this sits well in a small stand or a thumbnail box and shows its colour best against a light background.
Size 6.7 × 1.6 × 1.1 cm / 2.64 × 0.63 × 0.43 in; weight 15 g / 0.5 oz. Small cabinet specimen, displays well on a shelf or in a cabinet. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
