Den Gipfel dieser Stufe aus Yaogangxian besetzt ein einzelner, nebliger Würfel – innen blaulavendelfarbener Dunst, die Kanten in tieferem Violett nachgezeichnet, wo die letzte Wachstumszone ihr Purpur abgesetzt hat. Darunter wird die Matrix schroff: fast schwarze Erzminerale, von heller Kruste durchzogen, die in ihren Hohlräumen eine Handvoll kleinerer lavendelfarbener Würfel bergen.
Weich zonierte Kristalle wie dieser verändern sich mit dem Wetter – bedeckter Himmel betont den Dunst, direktes Licht weckt den violetten Rand –, und die dunkle, widerspenstige Matrix hält die Komposition am Boden. Ein charaktervolles Kluftstück, kein geschliffenes Schaustück.
