Über diese Stufe
Guizhou jarosite-coated fluorite at 69 g; a small cabinet piece with a graphic layout.
Chinese fluorite has become a staple of modern collections for its sharp crystal faces, strong colour and a lustre that reads well from across the room.
Guizhou's Qinglong antimony-fluorite district is the classic source for creedite sprays and continues to produce zoned fluorite and calcite.
By size it is small cabinet, 6 × 4.1 × 2.6 cm (2.36 × 1.61 × 1.02 in) and 69 g (2.4 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
