Über diese Stufe
Ein breites, mattes Calcit-Blatt erhebt sich wie ein Segel von der Rückseite dieser Stufe aus Fujian, sein Rand zu einer flachen Girlande angenagt, während darunter ein Knoten durchscheinenden seladongrünen Fluorits das Stück verankert. Dazwischen drängt sich eine Gruppe milchweißer Calcit-Kristalle nach vorn, sodass die Stufe als drei übereinandergestapelte Texturen zu lesen ist: seidiges Blatt, zuckrige Spitzen, glasiges Grün.
Drusen aus Fujian werden für genau diesen Kontrast geschätzt. Das Karbonat kristallisierte spät, legte sich über den älteren Fluorit und schloss ihn teilweise ein – und wo das geschah, zeigt sich das Grün heute als weiches Unterglühen statt als harte Kante. Calcit hat Mohshärte 3 und spaltet in drei Richtungen, was das Blatt zum verwundbaren Teil der Stufe macht: immer an der Basis anheben, nie an der Platte.
Das Gewicht beträgt 45 g. Geliefert wird auf dem oben sichtbaren Knetmasse-Polster und klaren Acrylblock, und nichts auf den Aufnahmen ist ein Platzhalter.
