Über diese Stufe
Eine Kruste kleiner Quarzspitzen, weiß mit einem schwachen Lavendelhauch, bedeckt diese Platte aus Fujian fast vollständig. An einem Ende bricht eine kompakte Gruppe blass mintgrüner Fluorit-Würfel durch die Druse, die Flächen gestuft und die Ecken etwas gerundet. Der Kontrast ist weich statt laut – Selleriegrün gegen mattes Weiß – und die Platte selbst ist unberührte Drusenauskleidung, genau so, wie sie aus dem Gang kam.
Fluorit, der direkt auf einer Quarzdruse wächst, hält die Reihenfolge der Ereignisse fest: Zuerst kleidete Kieselsäure den Hohlraum aus, dann kamen fluorithaltige Lösungen und keimten auf den bereits stehenden Spitzen. Sammler mögen diese Paarung, weil der härtere Quarz (Mohshärte 7 gegen 4 beim Fluorit) dem weicheren Mineral ein schützendes Bett gibt. Die Fluoritecken bleiben der exponierte Teil, eine gepolsterte Schachtel ist daher besser als ein volles Regal.
Die Platte misst 3,8 × 2,5 × 1,5 cm und wiegt 15 g. Die Bilder zeigen genau diese Platte, Knetmasse-Polster und Acrylblock inbegriffen.
