Über diese Stufe
Wie eine kurze Treppe aus Glas steigen die Würfel dieses Fluorits aus Yaogangxian von einer violetten Ecke unten rechts zu Flächen auf, die so nahezu farblos sind, dass sie ihren Ton vom Grau dahinter beziehen. Dunkle Pyrit-Einschlüsse stecken im Kristall, sie sitzen nicht auf ihm, und ein blasser strohfarbener Schleier zieht mitten durch den Stapel.
Die Farbe des Fluorits stammt von Defekten und Spurenelementen im CaF2-Gitter, und sie kann sich zwischen zwei Wachstumslagen ein- und wieder ausschalten – deshalb bleibt das Violett hier auf eine Schulter beschränkt, während der übrige Stapel klar geblieben ist. Bei Mohs 4 nehmen die Kanten leicht Schaden; heben Sie das Stück am Block an, statt eine Ecke zu greifen.
Klein und präzise mit 3,0 × 2,0 × 2,3 cm und 10 g, mit weißer Klebeknete auf einem klaren Acrylsockel befestigt. Fotografiert auf genau diesem Block – so kommt es auch bei Ihnen an.
