Über diese Stufe
Yunnan double-terminated quartz at 4.3 cm and 10.3 g; a miniature. A smoky double-terminated quartz with fine sketch-like lines inside, the smoky sketch-pattern Shanling quartz the supplier names, both tips complete as the supplier notes.
Double-terminated quartz grew free of the wall, so both ends carry natural terminations.
Yunnan's copper and lead-zinc districts produce the azurite, malachite, pyromorphite, hemimorphite and blue aragonite that define Chinese secondary minerals.
The piece is miniature in size, 1.3 × 1.1 × 4.3 cm (0.51 × 0.43 × 1.69 in) and 10.3 g (0.4 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.
