Diversi punti più chiari si estendono su tutta la superficie ad angoli bassi, mentre tra di essi rimangono visibili aree minerali più scure. La fotografia più vicina sottolinea il contrasto tra i piccoli volti angolari grigio-azzurro e la crescita più sottile pallida che li circonda.
