Su questo esemplare
Ailao Mountains, Yunnan, blue hemimorphite at 18.8 cm and 1400 g; a large cabinet display plate.
Hemimorphite is a zinc silicate that forms fan-shaped sprays of bladed crystals or botryoidal blue crusts; both forms are represented in Chinese and Mexican material.
Yunnan's copper and lead-zinc districts produce the azurite, malachite, pyromorphite, hemimorphite and blue aragonite that define Chinese secondary minerals.
Dimensions place it in the large cabinet range, 18.8 × 12 × 4 cm (7.40 × 4.72 × 1.57 in) and 1400 g (49.4 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
