La stilbite color miele-arancio si accumula su questo esemplare del Fujian in grossi covoni e forme a papillon, ciascun aggregato un fascio di lame piatte che si aprono a ventaglio alle due estremità. Il colore corre sui toni caldi: ambrato dove le lame sono spesse, più chiaro e quasi caramello dove si assottigliano. Le superfici hanno un tenue riflesso perlaceo più che uno scintillio duro. Sotto, una matrice bianca è cosparsa di micro cristalli verde-nero, e alcune punte di quarzo incolore si affollano sulla destra.
La stilbite è una zeolite, un allumosilicato idrato di calcio e sodio che cresce nelle cavità gassose delle rocce vulcaniche, ed è nota proprio per questo abito a covone, con cristalli che si allargano alle due estremità e si stringono in vita. È tenera, all'incirca da 3,5 a 4 Mohs, e trattiene acqua nella propria impalcatura, perciò la tenga lontana dal sole diretto e dai termosifoni.
L'esemplare misura 5,3 × 5,6 × 4,4 cm e pesa 130 g, e arriva sul blocchetto di acrilico trasparente visibile nelle fotografie, che tiene la stilbite rivolta in avanti nella sua angolazione migliore. È questo il singolo esemplare che riceverà.
