Clusters of bright, almost fluorescent lime-green pyromorphite crystals grow in rosettes and flower-like tufts across a triangular grey matrix, with the freshest green concentrated along the upper edge. The crystals are barrel-shaped and stacked, catching light on their resinous faces.
Guangxi's Daoping district is the best-known source of green pyromorphite, and this piece has the youthful lime tone collectors look for. Lead phosphate: wash hands after handling.
At 8.7 × 6.2 × 3.8 cm (3.43 × 2.44 × 1.50 in) and 105 g (3.7 oz) it is a cabinet specimen that makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. Sold exactly as photographed; any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note is disclosed in this listing.
