A jet-black, striated schorl tourmaline prism stands upright from a base of cream feldspar and bronze mica books, with a second smaller schorl at the right and white albite crystals around the foot. The main prism is complete and lustrous.
A Pakistani pegmatite thumbnail with the classic schorl-feldspar-mica trio; the black prism gives it a strong vertical line.
It measures 4.6 × 4.2 × 3.6 cm (1.81 × 1.65 × 1.42 in) and weighs 51 g (1.8 oz), a miniature-sized piece that fits a miniature cabinet or a desk display. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
