Over dit exemplaar
Zhejiang stepped emerald-green fluorite at 14.6 cm; a display slab with one of the strongest greens in Chinese fluorite.
Fluorite is the classic collector's halide: calcium fluoride that grows as cubes, octahedra and stepped combinations, often with colour zoning that shows best in daylight.
Zhejiang's Jiangshan and Qingtian districts are known for babingtonite, prehnite, fluorite and quartz from volcanic-hosted veins.
The piece is large cabinet in size, 14.6 × 9.6 × 5.8 cm (5.75 × 3.78 × 2.28 in) and 1082 g (38.2 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
