Over dit exemplaar
Sichuan garden quartz with epidote at 53 g; a small cabinet piece with a soft colour and a radiating form.
Garden quartz (lodolite) carries inclusions of chlorite and iron minerals that build miniature landscapes inside the crystal.
Epidote's deep pistachio to olive green and striated prism faces separate it from prehnite.
Sichuan hosts Xuebaoding, Jinkouhe and Leshan, sources of aquamarine, scheelite, prehnite, gypsum and the epidote-quartz skarn specimens seen here.
The piece is small cabinet in size, 6.9 × 4.5 × 2.8 cm (2.72 × 1.77 × 1.10 in) and 53 g (1.9 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
