Over dit exemplaar
Jinkouhe, Sichuan, tabular quartz at 14 cm and 83 g; a large cabinet-length blade.
Good quartz is about hexagonal prisms with clean terminations and the glassy lustre that lets a cluster catch light from every angle.
Jinkouhe in Leshan, Sichuan, is the source of prehnite, gypsum and epidote specimens from a road-cut skarn discovered in the 2010s.
By size it is large cabinet, 4.2 × 1.2 × 14 cm (1.65 × 0.47 × 5.51 in) and 83 g (2.9 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
