钒铅矿，Pb5(VO43Cl，属于铅矿床氧化的上部层位，在那里自围岩淋滤出的钒与溶液中的铅相遇；它结晶于六方晶系，其重量与金刚光泽般的闪烁都归功于铅。 这里的两种矿物都很软，硬度约在莫氏 3 左右，而重晶石片晶的尖端脆弱，因此这一件适合放在层架上，而不是口袋里。
