A plate entirely crusted with small, glassy Fanta-orange spessartine garnets, with a few larger, rounder garnets standing out at the top and silvery mica and white feldspar showing at the edges. The orange is bright and even across the face.
Yunxiao spessartine on feldspar is the classic modern Fujian find; this small cabinet plate has the garnets intact across the whole display face.
At 88 g (3.1 oz) it is a small cabinet specimen that displays well on a shelf or in a cabinet. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
