A cluster of large, translucent white calcite plates stacked and fanned like petals, with a grey base of smaller crystals. The plates are thin at the edges and glow in transmitted light. Fluoresces under a UV torch, as the photos show.
Hunan large platy calcite at 13.4 cm and 508 g; a small cabinet piece with an unusual flat-crystal habit.
