A dark, glassy sphalerite crystal group on grey matrix that turns a glowing orange-red when a light is placed behind it, which is how it was photographed. The crystals are three-dimensional and lustrous; it is graded gem quality.
Hunan gem sphalerite at 251 g; the back-lit colour is the reason to own it, so display it with a lamp behind.
At 251 g (8.8 oz) it is a cabinet specimen that makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
