檸檬黃色的磷氯鉛礦沿著這件廣西晶板的中央以參差的簇團向上攀爬，短小的桶狀柱晶聚成玫瑰花結，襯著覆蓋其餘岩面的低矮乳白與淡橄欖色結殼，顏色讀來近乎銳利。
磷氯鉛礦是一種氯磷酸鉛礦物，化學式 Pb5(PO4)3Cl，生成於鉛礦床氧化的上部層位，下滲的水在那裡把方鉛礦改造成遠更漂亮的東西。它屬六方晶系，因此有這種矮胖的桶狀外形，並帶著樹脂質到近乎油脂的光澤，比玻璃光澤更襯這抹黃。莫氏硬度 3.5 至 4，很容易被刮傷，所以在抽屜裡請與較硬的標本分開存放，也切勿刷洗這些晶簇。
標本尺寸 6.1 cm × 3.3 cm × 4.1 cm，重 105 g。照片中手持拍攝，未經黏著固定，也不附底座——鏡頭所見，就是離架寄出的那一件。
