A bright cluster of water-clear quartz prisms, several with sharp terminations pointing outward, with olive-green epidote crystals packed between and beneath them. The quartz is unusually transparent, which is why it is graded highly.
Sichuan's epidote-quartz skarn produces this combination in quantity, but pieces with clear, undamaged points and well-formed epidote are the ones worth keeping; this is a compact, complete example.
Weight 62 g / 2.2 oz. Small cabinet specimen, displays well on a shelf or in a cabinet. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
