請看進這枚晶體，而不只是看著它。在冰白般淡紫的表層之下，片片白色羽狀包裹體懸浮於晶體內部，如雪落至半途被凝住；其後則橫過幾道深紫色帶，勾勒出這枚晶體昔日較小立方體的方正輪廓。外側晶面以平行階梯層層攀升，潔淨處呈玻璃光澤，頂緣尚附少許母岩之處則呈霜白奶色。
幻影形成於生長的停頓。另一種礦物的薄膜沉落在晶面上，生長恢復後將其封入，舊有的表面便以幽靈般的輪廓留存於成形的晶體內部——那是晶洞化學環境在某一刻的紀錄。幻影之間的紫色色帶，則是 CaF2 晶格中的色心。莫氏硬度 4，四個方向完全解理，切勿用力捏握晶角。
晶體尺寸 4.6 × 3.0 × 2.5 cm，重 35 g，圖中安置於透明壓克力座上的白色凹槽托座中。每一張照片裡的這枚石頭，就是將為您包裝寄出的那一枚。
