Über diese Stufe
Yunnan double-terminated quartz at 4.9 cm and 16 g; a miniature. A grey double-terminated quartz with fine sketch-like lines inside and a small sceptre cap on one tip, the sketch-pattern Shanling quartz the supplier names, both tips complete as the supplier notes.
Double-terminated quartz grew free of the wall, so both ends carry natural terminations.
Yunnan is China's most mineralogically diverse province, source of the pyromorphite, azurite and blue aragonite that have become collector favourites.
The piece is miniature in size, 1.3 × 1.4 × 4.9 cm (0.51 × 0.55 × 1.93 in) and 16 g (0.6 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
