Über diese Stufe
Guizhou double-terminated quartz at 6 cm and 112 g; a small cabinet piece. A stout jet-black double-terminated quartz with mirror-like faces, the black-knight Shanling quartz the supplier names, both tips complete as the supplier notes.
Double-terminated quartz grew free of the wall, so both ends carry natural terminations.
Guizhou is the source of the collector creedite and hosts important fluorite, calcite and copper-mineral localities around Qinglong.
Dimensions place it in the small cabinet range, 4.8 × 4.1 × 6 cm (1.89 × 1.61 × 2.36 in) and 112 g (4.0 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.
