Ein breiter blassvioletter Kristall bildet den oberen Brennpunkt, wobei kleinere durchscheinende Gesichter entlang seiner Seite sichtbar sind. Der Glimmer darunter spiegelt silberfarbene und kohlehaltige Töne in eng gestapelten Schichten wider. Ein zweites Foto unter ultravioletter Beleuchtung zeichnet die quellenbeschriebene fluoreszierende Reaktion auf, während die normale Lichtansicht die tatsächliche weiche lila Farbe und kontrastierende dunkle Basis zeigt.
