Über diese Stufe
Maße: 8.0 × 5.0 × 5.0 cm (3.15 × 1.97 × 1.97 in) · 80 mm (3.15 in).
Numerous thin, pointed crystals form an open network of orange-brown sprays. The upper outline is irregular and spiky, with many narrow growths projecting at different angles. Denser, darker material fills the lower area above a pale patch of matrix.
Unlike a broad-petaled rosette, this Yunnan piece has a fine, bristling texture throughout much of its face. Small gaps between the sprays allow individual points to remain visible.
Locality: Yunnan, China. Weight: 130 g (4.59 oz).
Weight and dimensions refer to the specimen alone, excluding the display base. Any display base shown with the specimen is included.
The specimen pictured is the individual piece offered.
The mineral species has not been confirmed.
